Veelah Uke-Art Competition.
Win some outstanding Ukuleles from Veelah Instruments. Here is how.
1. Download the Uke-Art entry form and A4 template from this web page.
2. Photocopy the templates for the all students in your school. There are two downloadable templates. Ukeartpc1.pdf is just the uke body (actual size.) Template ukeartpic2.pdf is the neck and headstock. These can be pasted together to make the full size uke. Or you may prefer to run your competition with the body only.
3. Run your own in-school competition to choose your best design(s) for a custom painted ukulele.
4. Once you have selected your winning designs, complete the entry form, and send to: Uke-Art Competition P.O. box 441 Pukekohe Franklin, New Zealand.
Include $25 for each uke you want to paint. (maximum of 4 per school) You will receive your unpainted ukuleles each with a set of Resene paints.
6. Paint your ukulele with your winning design and bring it to the festival. Teachers may assist with the finished product.
The judges will choose three winners on the day of the Festival. Winners will receive prizes of superb hand crafted Veelah ukuleles and Licensing packages for Uke 4 U. Multimedia Ukulele Tutor. Total prize package is over $2000 dollars.
